Join local anglers Brian Wagner and Bruce McCutcheon from the Forks of the Delaware chapter of Trout Unlimited for a beginner and family-friendly intro to fly fishing! Learn the anatomy and assembly of your fly rods, basic fish I.D., knot tying, get tips and tricks on fly’s, and an opportunity to practice casting! There will be a break in between for lunch with limited time, please be prepared with lunch, water, and snacks for the day. We will meet at the environmental education center building on 400 Belfast Road in the morning and travel to a local pond in the afternoon. Participants will be responsible for providing their own transportation to our afternoon location– about 3 miles from the EE center. This program is best suited for families with children aged 12 and older.
