PLT MWEE: Meaningful Woodland Educational Experiences with Project Learning Tree
Join Environmental Educators from both the Bureau of State Parks and Forestry for a day of inquiry-based forest exploration. Participants will receive a copy of Project Learning Tree’s flagship curriculum, Explore Your Environment: K-8 Activity Guide. This PLT resource includes 50 hands-on, multidisciplinary activities to connect children to nature and increase young people’s awareness and knowledge about their environment. Additionally, activities and on-site explorations using the Focus on Forest module will demonstrate inquiry focused investigations to support current classroom studies and MWEE development.
