Title
Take Back the Woods: Battling Invasive Species
Description
Celebrate spring by helping to restore native habitats at Jennings. Invasive plants are a major factor in the decline of native plant species and also impact native animals. Come spend a morning "weeding out" the invasives at the park and be rewarded with a hearty and delicious lunch that will feature some of these plants and a native plant to take home. Participants must be age 12 or older, and be prepared to work outdoors, rain or shine. Space is limited. Registration for the program is required by April 13th.
