Title
Family Pine Creek Rail Trail Ride
Description
Celebrate Remake Learning Days with a fun, family-friendly bike ride along the Pine Creek Rail Trail! Join us for a relaxed group ride from Jersey Shore to Torbert, covering just over 5 miles, and designed for families who want to explore the outdoors together while celebrating learning through movement, exploration, and community. In partnership with Remake Learning Days, Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy, and Williamsport Bicycle Recycle, this ride highlights how biking can build confidence, curiosity, and connections to our local landscape. We’ll begin in Jersey Shore and travel north along the Pine Creek Rail Trail to Torbert, enjoying scenic views and a safe, accessible trail along the way. Participants will also learn about bike safety, basic maintenance, and the role bicycles play in supporting active, lifelong learning. This program is ideal for families with children who are comfortable riding on a flat, crushed-stone trail. Helmets are required for all participants, and riders should bring their own bike and helmet. Williamsport Bicycle Recycle will be on hand to support the event and celebrate the power of bikes as tools for learning, access, and community connection.
