Title
'Enjoy the Resources. Protect the Resources.' - Family Fishing Fun!
Description
Are you and your kids interested in fishing but haven't had the opportunity to learn? Or maybe you'd rather someone else teach the kids how to bait a hook? Then spend the afternoon with park staff to learn the basics of fishing before trying your luck catching fish from the lake. We’ll even tie in aspects of how people fished at the time of our country’s founding. All basic equipment and bait will be provided or bring your own gear. No license needed! Appropriate for ages 7 and up. Space is limited and registration is required. To register, click on the Register icon. If registering as a group, please account for each person attending to give us an accurate tally. This event is part of the Enjoy the Resources. Protect the Resources. day of activities, presented by NEPA Sierra Club and Lackawanna State Park staff. This event welcomes everyone to enjoy the park, link the natural resources to our country’s founding in recognition of America250, and connect you to conservation efforts in the park and beyond!
