Library Family Glow Hike
Join your friends from the Mifflin Community Library and Nolde Forest EEC for this special family glow hike in the woods. In this program we will meet in McConnell Classroom to talk about what makes black lights special and how animals who are awake at night can see different than us humans. Then we will go on a special walk in the dark forest, using our black light flashlights to see like some nocturnal animals do! What will we find? Each family will be provided one back light per group, as we only have a limited supply. If you have a black light flashlight, please bring it along! Due to the limited supply we require all participants to register for this program and because we are using of black lights, this program is for families with children ages 10 and up. Those who use the flashlights inappropriately will be asked to leave.
