Sounds of Spring Stroll
Description
***Registration required: Please register for this program by clicking the "register →" button.*** ***Meeting location: Ringing Rocks D&L Trailhead, 1975 River Rd, Upper Black Eddy, PA 18972*** Join a state park naturalist for a stroll along the towpath to listen for the sounds of spring -- perhaps we'll hear a chorus of Spring Peepers or the song of a Red-winged Blackbird! This walk will be out-and-back at a moderate pace on a flat, level path; total distance covered will be 2-3 miles. Please wear sturdy footwear & bring water. We will be back in the parking lot right around sunset, so no need for a flashlight/headlamp. There are no restrooms at this location. Program will be cancelled or postponed in the event of inclement weather or hazardous driving/towpath conditions. For more info. contact: Katie Martens @ kmartens@pa.gov
