Virtual Series: Vernal Pools
Description
Join the park naturalist over your lunch break to learn about PA Wildlife and natural phenomenons! We will be casually discussing a different PA critter every Thursday in January. Programs will occur virtually on Microsoft Teams—all ages are welcome to attend. Registration on the DCNR Calendar of Events is required to get the link to participate. Learn about vernal pools, one of the most specific and unique ecosystems in PA. We will be discussing characteristics of seasonal ponds and the special amphibians that rely on them to survive.
