Educators from Washington Crossing and Delaware Canal State Parks invite kids ages 8-12 to join us for this year's Canal Camp! The purpose of the Canal Camp is to connect today’s youth with our historical and natural resources in a fun and entertaining way. Crafts, games and activities will teach children about our local heritage, from Washington's crossing of the Delaware to the heyday of the Delaware Canal.
The camp will include interactive historical activities from both these important eras in local history, as well as outdoor recreation to encourage an appreciation for the natural resources that still remain today.
