Dive Into Your Watershed with Project WET
Explore the connections between land, water, and your community at this Project WET educator workshop! Learn how to educate and inspire water literacy through science-based activities while collaborating with fellow educators. Lessons will focus on how to help your students connect and care about their local waterways. All participants will receive a copy of the new Foundations of Water Education curriculm, containing twelve popular Project WET activities addressing Pennsylvania’s educational standards. This workshop is recommended for K-12 classroom teachers and nonformal-educators. When: Friday, October 2, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Where: In-Person at Raymond B. Winter State Park. Specific meeting location will be provided upon registration. Act 48: 5.5 hrs.
