Susquehanna Riverlands State Park boasts a healthy population of American Woodcock, an interesting, some say silly, bird that marches to the beat of it's own drum. In the spring these reclusive birds get together for some jumping flights to find a mate. We will talk about these birds and hope for a good show. Quiet and patience are important for all to enjoy this phenomena.
