Title
Fly Tying
Description
Winter is a great time to learn a new hobby - fly tying! Learn how to turn material such as feathers, animal fur, and common household crafting supplies into macroinvertebrate works of art! In the beginners session on Feb. 14th, you will learn how to use the tools to make some very simple flies that you could use this spring for trout! On the intermediate session on March 14th, we will still introduce the basics, but we will try some slightly more involved flies. All materials are provided. This is a free event, but please register all people (children and adults) participating so we know how many kits to bring! If you need accommodations, please let our office know at least 3 days in advance. We will be in the park office classroom, which is wheel-chair and service animal friendly.
