Volunteer Decorating Days!
Help us prepare for Light Up Little Buffalo! Come out from 12-3:30pm each weekend day to help with various aspects of decorating! Weather permitting, of course! Please Register on the DCNR Calendar so that we know about how many to expect.

Dec. 24th – 9AM-12PM Trail Light Cleanup
Jobs can include, but are not limited to:
Hanging lights on buildings (no ladders involved)
Hanging & installing wooden cutouts - use of drills & pounding stakes in the ground
Fixing & repairing lighted decorations (done in heated annex)
Decorating Christmas Trees (Dec. 15th)
Hanging trail lights (Dec. 15th)
Testing & repairing lights'
Making wreaths & swags for buildings
If you've never volunteered with the trail before, we'd love to have you! Just keep in mind, this is not your typical light-hanging experience! Lights have to be carefully planned in terms of where power comes from and how many strands we can put together. It's not a great project for young kids alone, but we are happy to have families work together to make this the best year yet!
