Title
Spring Migration Bird Walk
Description
Spring migration is at it's peak, and warblers, flycatchers, vireos, tanagers, and other neotropical migrating birds are arriving at the park in large numbers, either to breed here, or continue their journey to breeding grounds farther north! Join park naturalist and avid birder Rob Bergstresser on a leisurely bird identification walk around the Day Use Area, in search of these magnificent migrators. All ages and experience levels are invited. Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars, but a limited number of binoculars will be available for use. We will be meeting at the Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) for this program. Registration is REQUIRED, as group size is limited. Please register each individual attending, separately.
