Title
Nurturing Through Nature - Root to Rise
Description
Spring is a magical time to connect with the earth beneath our feet and allow ourselves to grow as we ground. The more we ground down and honor the roots of our true nature, the stronger we can rise up and bloom. Where are you most grounded? What feeds your roots and where are they anchored? What buds of truth are seeking your nurturing to burst forth into full flower? Join us for one of these Spring Nurturing Through Nature Sessions as we take an afternoon of reflection and harmony in nature at Nolde Forest. During this program participants will get the opportunity to awaken their senses, connect with the forest, and discover the depth of our unique relationship with Mother Nature while reflecting on grounding in our true selves and feeding our roots. These sessions will be led by guest guide, Robert Sarnoski, of Mind Body Simple LLC. We will introduce you to the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, also know as Forest Bathing. This exploration of the senses will consist of an overview of the practice of forest bathing and the land we are on, followed by a sensory awareness exercise and mindful invitations for you to engage with. Time will be given to share your thoughts and experiences (if you choose to) and we will close out the session with a casual tea ceremony. **Please dress according to the weather forecasted. It is recommended to wear long pants, closed toe shoes and socks suitable for walking in the woods. Feel free to bring anything else you would like such as a water bottle and hiking stick. Don't forget to bring a sense of wonder and curiosity. **Registration is required for ALL participants. Spaces are limited.** Register by clicking the green button in the upper righthand corner. This hike is for Adults Only.
