Virtual Lunchtime Lecture: Winter Tree ID - Alternate-leaf Trees
The last of our 4-part tree ID series is the biggest group of trees in PA - the alternate leaf trees. These include fruit trees (apple, mulberry, serviceberry, cherry, plum, hawthorn, hackberry, pawpaw, persimmon, and more), nut trees (oak, hickory, walnut, beech), locust, poplar, aspen, magnolia, and many more. These can be the hardest trees to ID, so join in this program to learn some tips and tricks to help you figure out these tricky trees.
