‘Tis the season for giving… and we give so much to others - thanks, gifts, our time and energy. But what do you give to yourself during this time? Are you open to receive?
One of our favorite quotes is by John Muir: “In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks.”
So we invite you to come take a walk with nature and receive her goodness. What gifts can she bring to you? How can we reconnect, not only with nature, but with ourselves? What happens when you take a moment of contemplation, away from the holiday rush to recenter your soul on what really matters? And how can we give some of our thanks, gifts, time and energy back to Mother Nature, who gives us so much?
Join us as we take an afternoon of reflection and harmony in nature at Nolde Forest. During this Nurturing Through Nature program participants will get the opportunity to awaken their senses, connect with the forest, and discover the depth of our unique relationship with Mother Nature while reflecting on how we can best usher in this holiday season without losing sight of what really matters. This program will start with a short, guided meditation and intention setting, after which we will take a gentle walk through the forest to a lovely sit spot where we can stop for a silent meditation among the trees. Participants should be prepared for a mindful walk and quiet 20min meditation in the brisk winter air.
*Bring a mat or blanket to use during the program for sitting and/or added warmth*
