Give back to Nolde Forest on the second Saturday of every month. We stive to keep our trails in tip top shape, but we can always use some extra help.
Volunteers will work with Park Staff on various natural resource projects, from removing invasive species or seeding native plants to digging blocked drains or creating water bars on the trails. Each month will be a different assignment, based on the needs of the park at that time.
Tools will always be provided, but we recommend you bring your own well fitting work gloves if you have them. Registration is required, as we may assign you to different parking areas based on the days activities and we need to know who to expect. Work Days will be cancelled for inclement weather - be sure to check your email.
Due to the nature of heavy equipment, our second saturday trail crew days are for participants ages 15 and up (and minors must have an adult participating as well).
