Homeschool or Afterschool class for ages 7 - 10. Come learn about the mammals that live around the world and locally in Nolde Forest. In this program, we will meet in McConnell Education Center Hall. Students will have an introductory activity indoors then move outdoors for a hike and to search for tracks and other mammal evidence. After hiking we will return to the classroom for an art project and discussion.
Parents are welcome to drop their registered child(ren) off and, if you have other students outside of this age range, we invite you to take a winter forest hike with them, while we work on a learning about majestic yet mysterious mammals!
This program will take place in the morning OR afterschool. Please sign your child(ren) up for the time slot that works best!
This program will take place both inside and outside. Please make sure all students are dressed appropriately to spend time outside. **Registration is required for ALL participants. Spaces are limited. There is a $5 fee for each student. The fee should be paid as students are dropped off. ** Register by clicking the green button in the upper righthand corner. *This program will only be cancelled in case of severe inclement weather.
