Do you have a telescope but are having trouble using it? Interested in purchasing a telescope and want to find out what to look for and what to avoid? This brief program will outline basic fundamentals of telescopes and common missteps in their use. There will be time for questions and additionally, those who participate in this program can schedule a one-on-one virtual follow-up session.
The presenter has 20+ years experience using a diversity of telescopes in public presentations and offers these workshops periodically to help make the night sky more accessible to individuals and families. While more advanced, this program can be appropriate for younger children, when attending with an adult.
Although there is less interaction than the traditional in-person form of this program, the virtual one-on-one follow-up session will help adapt the program for online learning and build on the first session.
