Sowing Seeds in Nature (a Mindful Outdoor Experience)
We will be Sowing Seeds today! This is a SPECIAL collaboration with an Education Specialist from Nolde Forest! We will be spreading native plant seeds (provided by Nolde) in key locations along the trails while we settle into our Mindful Wanderings.
You are invited on a 2 mile (total) loop walk to explore the magic along the Watershed and Apple Tree Trails in Nolde Forest. There are several inviting creek crossings where we can play as most of our afternoon will be spent exploring the numerous springs. The buds will be really popping on the trees and the forest floor. We will also be wandering through a dense carpeted hemlock forest
Are you willing to explore your senses and trust Nature to be your guide?
If so, join us.
PRE-REGISTRATION through Nolde Forest is REQUIRED for this event. Please see info below to register and/or contact Nolde Forest:

We will be walking mostly on the trail but will be wandering a bit too. This route is listed as easy to moderate. This route is mostly easy with the steeper portion on the downhill. ♀️♂️
REMEMBER: This is rain or shine (unless heavy rain or thunderstorms) so please dress appropriately and in layers for this 3 hour outdoor adventure.
We will be walking over some uneven terrain and mud/near water so please be prepared with solid hiking boots or shoes. 🥾🥾
Our afternoon will also be spent pausing & connecting with Nature and practicing proven ways to settle in, get centered & grounded, and help alleviate some of our stresses and anxieties by learning to become more present. More Mindful.
This adventure may also include:
Waking up and warming up our bodies.
Exploring the intimate nooks and crannies of some of the less traveled areas.
Spending some time with a special tree.
Maybe finding an off trail hiding place to settle in and take in the views while we practice a seated meditation (sit spot)
Really connecting with our senses and spending time with Nature.
Ending with "council practice" where we will reconnect and share our Experiences with each other.
Please bring a mask/face covering which must be worn when we cannot keep 6 feet apart from each other or other folks sharing the trails.
Bring your favorite blanket to cloak yourself in and/or bring a small towel or pad for sitting for our sit spot meditation (20 minutes). 🧘♀️🧘♂️ You may also choose to stand.
There ARE rustic restrooms. Please plan accordingly.
This is a free event, however DONATIONS ($ or Venmo) are appreciated and should be based on how valuable you find your experience to be as you invest in your personal wellness journey.
