Keep an eye on the sky and witness some amazing birds. Meet at the Environmental Education Center of Nockamixon State Park! This 2-hour long program is a great opportunity for birders of all skill levels to enjoy birds around the lake and forests at Nockamixon State Park. Bring your own field guides and binoculars to help ID the birds you see. ***Pre-registration is required: please click the green "register" button to sign up for this program.*** Due to COVID-19 restrictions, participants are limited to 10. Programs are subject to change at any time. COVID-19 guidelines must be followed. Social distancing is required and masks must be worn throughout the duration of the program. Hand sanitizer will be available. Individual equipment will be assigned to each family when necessary. ***Meeting location: Environmental Education Center: Directions to Environmental Education Center from Main Park Office: From the park office parking lot, drive into park to lot #11. Once parked, follow the trail down towards to Environmental Education Center. From marina, drive into park and park in lot #12 and walk through wooded area 400ft to Environmental Education center. *** Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, some parts of the bike trail are wet & bring water/a snack. There are no bathrooms at the starting point of this hike but we will be passing one on the hike. This hike may be cancelled or postponed in the event of inclement weather or hazardous driving conditions
