Join us for a look into how Native Americans changed the lives of early settlers and helped to create the first Thanksgiving. We will discuss the life of the Northeastern Native Americans before and after colonists arrived, how they helped the Pilgrims survive their first winter, and how their lives were changed by the new colonists. We will also talk about what foods were eaten at the First Thanksgiving, and how the turkey came to be the symbol of the holiday we know today.
