Come explore the environmental and cultural connections of the Mexican holiday of Día de Muertos.
We have changed format this year in order to meet Covid19 restrictions. Instead of an all day open house, participants must sign up for a timeslot to participate in the event. Each time slot will be limited to 10 individuals.
At your designated time, you will be greeted by a park staff member in the Educational Center parking area who will guide you from station to station along our outdoor festival. Participants should expect to spend about 45 minutes completing all the stations.
YOU MUST SIGN UP FOR A TIMESLOT TO PARTICIPATE AND YOU MUST BE ON TIME. We will not allow walk ups or late arrivals to join.
The Day of the Dead celebration will be entirely outdoors and will happen rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and plan to bring a flashlight if you are signing up for a night timeslot.

Descubran las conexiones entre la cultura y la ciencia sobre las fiestas mexicanas del Dia de los muertos.
El formato ha cambiado este año para cumplir con las restricciones de Covid19. En vez de celebrar con una jornada de puertas abiertas, todo los participantes tienen que registrar para una cita específica. Cada cita estará limitada a 10 participantes.
A la hora de su cita, un empleado de Nolde Forest se reunirá con su grupo en el área de estacionamiento. De allí, él/ella les guiará en su caminata alrededor de la mansión para asegurar que encuentren a todas nuestras actividades. La vuelta entera demorará aproximadamente 45 minutos en total.
TIENEN QUE REGISTRAR PARA UNA CITA ANTES DE LLEGAR Y TIENEN QUE ESTAR PUNTUAL PARA PARTICIPAR. No podemos incluir a personas que no tienen cita ni a las que llegan tarde.
La celebración de Día de los muertos estará totalmente al aire libre este año, aún si llueve. Por favor, vístanse con respeto al clima y traigan una linterna si registran para una cita de noche.
