Join the park naturalist and outdoor experts from LL Bean on this sunset hike along Marsh Creek Lake.
We will meet at the west side outdoor classroom (800 N reeds road - follow the driveway down and look for the outdoor classroom signs) and set off at 7pm.
We will hike the trails along the water and up to the top of the dam and loop back to our starting place. Along the way we will watch the sun slip below the horizon and be on the lookout for great blue herons and ospreys as they prepare to roost for the night and listen for bats as they fly overhead.
Part of this hike WILL BE IN THE DARK so please be sure to bring a flashlight and headlamp. This will be a moderate hike about 2.5 miles in length.
