Professional Development for Educators: Flying WILD Teacher Workshop
We are excited to offer a virtual teacher workshop on the Flying Wild curriculum, which supports and compliments the Project WILD materials. This program takes place virtually on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 9:30 am until 2:30 pm. 4.5 Act 48 hours are available. There is a $36.00 fee per student, payable upon registration by calling the park office. This fee includes your very own Educator’s guide, as well as most materials needed to complete two activities, which we will accomplish virtually together. Register and pay by June 18, 2022. We cannot ship materials until registration and payment is completed. You will receive a link to join the workshop via ZOOM, the day before the program. Program may be modified or cancelled at the discretion of park staff. For more information, please contact the Presque Isle State Park office, located on the second floor of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, at 814-833-7424. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 4 PM. If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit.
