Professional Development: Get Outdoors PA Snowshoe
Educators in traditional and non-traditional settings are invited to get outdoors with a winter themed professional development training. A mix of indoor and outdoor activities will highlight snowshoeing and guide you in introducing this exciting pastime to your students. If conditions are favorable, outdoor snowshoe adventures will be included. Focus areas on physical education/health, history, and science. Act 48 credit is available. Training will take place Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. Register by clicking the green button on the right. Please register by February 12. Training is limited to 20 participants. Cost is $30.00 payable in advance by calling 814-833-7424. Program may be modified or cancelled at discretion of park staff. For more information, please contact the Presque Isle State Park office, located on the second floor of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, at 814-833-7424. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 4 PM.
