Importance of Hemlock Forests
Pennsylvania’s Hemlock Forests are not only vital to the economy, but they support a vast amount of life! They are rich with history and biology. Join a Naturalist on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1PM to learn why. Please register by visiting this link: http://events.dcnr.pa.gov/presque_isle_state_park. After registering, you will be sent a link to join the program via Microsoft TEAMS. This program is suitable for all ages. There is no fee. Please register by February 21. Program may be modified or cancelled at discretion of park staff. For more information, please contact the Presque Isle State Park office, located on the second floor of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, at 814-833-7424. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 4 PM. If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit.
