Snowy Owls

Among all the owls that either live or visit here, the Snowy Owl is arguably the most magnificent of all! Rivaled in size only by the Great Horned Owl and the Great Grey Owl, the Snowy is a must-see for all bird lovers. Find out more about this amazing bird by joining a Naturalist on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 1PM. Please register by visiting this link: http://events.dcnr.pa.gov/presque_isle_state_park. After registering, you will be sent a link to join the program via Microsoft TEAMS. This program is suitable for all ages. There is no fee. Please register by February 14. Program may be modified or cancelled at discretion of park staff. For more information, please contact the Presque Isle State Park office, located on the second floor of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, at 814-833-7424. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 4 PM. If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit.
