DiscoverE Conservation Leaders (Ages 13-17)
Theme: Kayaks and Climate Change! Kids ages 13-17 with an interest in the environment join us for two days of exploring the implications of climate change and alternative energy. ***This program will be held on July 26th & 27th from 1:00pm- 2:30pm both days On day one we will discuss global and local issues caused by climate change and learn about sustainable energy. On day two we will explore the park’s lagoon by kayak and discuss the role of wetlands in climate change mitigation. The cost for this program is $5/child/day and registration is required for all participants!

    I will need accommodation in order to participate in this program. I recognize that if an ASL interpreter is needed, I will need to register 5 days or more in advance of the event so that the park can secure an interpreter for me.
