Project WET Educator Workshop (6.5 ACT 48 hours)
Are you look for fun new ways to engage your students in science and the natural world? If you are, check out this great hands-on workshop to learn about the importance and science of water. Expect to have fun, get moving, and get outside for this workshop! Dress for the weather, expect to get wet, and bring an extra pair of shoes to get in the stream. Participants will receive the Project WET Activity Guide, which is filled with hands-on interdisciplinary lessons. Cost is $30, and this workshop is open to formal and non-formal educators, and is geared towards educators of PreK-8th grade. Participants will also earn 6.5 ACT 48 hours. Registration is required. Registrations must be received by September 21, 2018. Details about meeting location within Raccoon Creek State Park and payment will be sent out once registered. Please bring a lunch, and dress to be indoors and outdoors.
