Virtual Lunchtime Lecture: Winter Tree ID - Alternate-leaf Trees
The last of our 4-part tree ID series is the biggest group of trees in PA - the alternate leaf trees. These include fruit trees (apple, mulberry, serviceberry, cherry, plum, hawthorn, hackberry, pawpaw, persimmon, and more), nut trees (oak, hickory, walnut, beech), locust, poplar, aspen, magnolia, and many more. These can be the hardest trees to ID, so join in this program to learn some tips and tricks to help you figure out these tricky trees. The virtual program is done through Microsoft Teams. In order to receive a link, you must click the green "register" button above. It's free and will send a link automatically to your email. Try the link ahead of the program on your device to make sure it will open for you - we can't help you troubleshoot once the program has started! If you have questions, concerns, or need assistance, reach out to the park office at 717-567-9255 ahead of the program

I will need accommodation in order to participate in this program. I recognize that if an ASL interpreter is needed, I will need to register 5 days or more in advance of the event so that the park can secure an interpreter for me.
I will notify Little Buffalo State Park if my plans change.
