Ugly Holiday Sweater Walk
Join park staff and work off those holiday calories with a walk around the park. Wear your best ugly holiday sweater and any other festive gear to keep warm while we learn about how soldiers at Fort Pitt and Fort Duquesne celebrated holidays and what the soldiers at both forts had to do to prepare for winter. This program is free, but space is limited to 20 participants, so registration is required. Register by clicking the green register button on this page. Details such as meeting location will be emailed to you after you register. Please make sure to register as a group if more than one person is coming with you. Please dress for the weather, as we will be outside the entire time. Programs are weather permitting, and may be cancelled due to inclement weather including severe storms or due to low registration.     I will need accommodation in order to participate in this program. I recognize that if an ASL interpreter is needed, I will need to register 5 days or more in advance of the event so that the park can secure an interpreter for me.
