Sowing Seeds in Nature (a Mindful Outdoor Experience)
We will be Sowing Seeds today! This is a SPECIAL collaboration with an Education Specialist from Nolde Forest! We will be spreading native plant seeds (provided by Nolde) in key locations along the trails while we settle into our Mindful Wanderings. You are invited on a 2 mile (total) loop walk to explore the magic along the Watershed and Apple Tree Trails in Nolde Forest. There are several inviting creek crossings where we can play as most of our afternoon will be spent exploring the numerous springs. The buds will be really popping on the trees and the forest floor. We will also be wandering through a dense carpeted hemlock forest Are you willing to explore your senses and trust Nature to be your guide? If so, join us. PRE-REGISTRATION through Nolde Forest is REQUIRED for this event. More Mindful. This adventure may also include: Waking up and warming up our bodies. Exploring the intimate nooks and crannies of some of the less traveled areas. Spending some time with a special tree. Ending with "council practice" where we will reconnect and share our Experiences with each other. Please bring a mask/face covering which must be worn when we cannot keep 6 feet apart from each other or other folks sharing the trails.
