Family Science Outside - Silly Squirrels
Do you ever wonder what happens to squirrels in the winter? Why do they act so silly at times? Join Ms. Amy for a story book reading to get us thinking about squirrel behavior-maybe they aren’t so silly! Learn about squirrel strategies for survival and the important role they play in the forest ecosystem. Then go out on a guided hike to look for various signs of squirrels preparing for winter. This program is for families with children ages 5 years and up. In order to comply with current PA and CDC Covid-19 protocols, masks and registration are required for all participants. Dress for the weather- this will be an outdoor program. Spaces are limited, so please be sure you sign up by clicking the green box in the upper right- hand corner. We will not be able to take walk up participants. You should receive a confirmation email once you have successfully registered for this program.
