Full Moon Towpath Trek

***Pre-registration is required: please click the green "register" button to sign up for this program.*** ***Meeting location: Delaware Canal State Park Office, 11 Lodi Hill Rd., Upper Black Eddy, PA*** Come join us on this moderately paced 4 mile towpath trek to view the full "Cold Moon" as it rises in the east. We'll listen for owls & keep an eye out for other nocturnal critters while learning about the history of the Delaware Canal. We will meet at the park office then walk south along the towpath to the only covered bridge that remains along the canal in the historic hamlet of Uhlerstown. Upon returning to the park office, we will enjoy some hot chocolate or tea! Please dress warmly in non-cotton layers, wear sturdy shoes & bring a flashlight or headlamp in case of cloud cover.
