Science & Stories (1st - 3rd grade Edition)
Join park staff for this scientific exploration of the forest told through an age appropriate story! In this session for learners in 1st-3rd graders and their adults, we will explore the concept of Biodiversity. To get our minds ready to explore we will start the session by reading "Many: the diversity of life on Earth". Thanks to a generous grant from The Lawrence Foundation and Books in Homes, USA, children who register will be able to take home a copy of the book at the end of the program. We hope that by reading the story again at home you can talk about and reinforce some of the discoveries we make out in the forest. After our reading, children will explore the forest and explore the wide range of life that can be found - even in the winter! Books are limited, so please register your entire group by clicking the green button.
